Inidam’s full in-house Heat Treatment Plant is used for the processing of Aluminium Alloy castings or fabrications.
The equipment is all fully automated and each heat is recorded automatically and kept on file to allow traceability at any time.

1. High Temperature Oven - Up to 550 degrees Centigrade.
   and Water Quench Tank.
   This oven is capable of processing materials in batches of up to two tonnes, in purpose built baskets. The baskets measure 1.1 metres square.
2. Low Temperature Oven – Up to 300 degrees Centigrade.
   The low temperature oven is used to process materials with dimensions not exceeding three metres in height.
3. Traceability.
   The heat of each treatment is carefully recorded on a fully calibrated chart recorder,
   and all records are kept on file for further reference.
4. Calibration.
   Calibration is carried out at regular time intervals on the ovens, thermo-couples and chart recorders.
5. Metallurgy Service.
   A full metallurgy service can be provided, including:-
   Elongation
   Chemical Analysis
   Ultimate Tensile Strength, UTS
   Hardness Tests in Vickers, Brinell or Rockwell
