Accreditations

Independently
accredited.

Inspection only carries weight if the inspector's work can be independently verified. Below are the accreditations and certifications that govern our laboratory, our personnel, and the standards we inspect to. Each is independently issued, independently audited, and publicly verifiable.

01/UKAS

United Kingdom Accreditation Service.

Inidam Limited is a UKAS-accredited testing laboratory under the Joint IAF-ILAC-ISO Communiqué. UKAS is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection, and calibration services. Our UKAS accreditation covers the non-destructive testing methods defined in our Laboratory's Schedule of Accredited Methods, audited annually.

What it covers
  • ●Laboratory radiography, ultrasonic, MPI, DPI
  • ●Defined scope per Schedule of Accredited Methods
  • ●Annual surveillance audits by UKAS assessors
  • ●Compliant with ISO/IEC 17025 testing-laboratory standard
What it signals
  • ●Independently audited testing competence
  • ●Internationally recognised (ILAC mutual recognition)
  • ●Procedures, equipment, and personnel verified
  • ●Reports admissible in international supply chains
02/PCN

Personnel Certification in NDT.

PCN is the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing's personnel certification scheme — the UK's primary route to qualified NDT inspector status. Inidam's inspectors hold PCN certification across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 in the methods we perform, including the specialist aerospace sector schemes that allow our radiographers and penetrant inspectors to work on airworthiness-critical components.

What it covers
  • ●Industrial radiography (Level 1, 2, 3)
  • ●Aerospace radiography (Level 3)
  • ●Ultrasonic, MPI, DPI, ACFM (Level 1, 2, 3)
  • ●Visual inspection and welding-related qualifications
What it signals
  • ●Personnel competence is independently certified
  • ●Examinations administered by approved bodies
  • ●Aligned with EN ISO 9712 international standard
  • ●Recognised across UK industry and overseas
03/ASNT

American Society for Nondestructive Testing.

Where work falls under American codes — including ASME pressure equipment, AWS welding, and aerospace standards written to US specification — Inidam's ASNT-qualified inspectors deliver inspection that meets the certification requirements of US-based clients and regulators. ASNT Level III holders within our team write and approve the inspection procedures used for ASNT-governed work.

What it covers
  • ●Radiography (RT) qualifications
  • ●Ultrasonic testing (UT) qualifications
  • ●Magnetic particle (MT) and penetrant (PT)
  • ●Procedure approval by ASNT Level III personnel
What it signals
  • ●Suitable for work governed by ASME / AWS codes
  • ●Recognised by US-based clients and regulators
  • ●Aligned with SNT-TC-1A recommended practice
  • ●Bridges UK and US supply-chain requirements
04/Lloyds Register

Lloyds Register Recognised Service Supplier.

Inidam is recognised by Lloyds Register as a service supplier for non-destructive testing — a status granted only to organisations that meet Lloyds Register's quality, personnel, and procedural requirements. This recognition is particularly relevant to our marine and offshore work, where Lloyds Register is one of the principal classification societies governing inspection on behalf of asset owners and insurers.

What it covers
  • ●Marine and offshore inspection work
  • ●Classification society-witnessed inspection
  • ●New-build and in-service vessel inspection
  • ●Pressure equipment and structural inspection
What it signals
  • ●Recognised by a major classification society
  • ●Suitable for class-witnessed inspection campaigns
  • ●Aligned with marine and offshore code requirements
  • ●Vendor pre-qualification for major operators

Accreditation matters.
Use it.

If your work needs a specific accreditation — UKAS-accredited testing, PCN Level 3 personnel, ASNT-qualified inspection, or Lloyds Register recognition — tell us what's required and we'll confirm which of our accreditations cover the scope, and provide documentation if your QA team needs it.
